SPRING 2010 Rush Info
Q: How can I can I contact you?
A: You can contact any Brother by going to the Contact Us area on this website.
Q: So who can join the Alpha Gamma Mu Chapter?
A: As a Co-Ed Service Fraternity here at William Paterson University, any student enrolled at William Paterson may join the Alpha Gamma Mu Chapter. This includes students who are already members of other Fraternities and Sororities.
Q: What is APO all about?
A: APO is all about our Cardinal Principles: Leadership, Friendship, and Service. The Brothers (universal he) of the Fraternity strive to Be a Leader, Be a Friend, and Be of Service within their community. APO is all about friends leading friends in helping others.
Our service projects range from Adopt-a-Highway and Eva's Kitchen to Dog Walking for a local shelter. We are always looking for opportunities to help others, but APO also recognizes the need to provide social events and leadership opportunities to help enrich the college careers of its members.
Q: How is APO different from other fraternities/sororities?
A: Alpha Phi Omega is not recognized by a national Greek organization, and individual Chapters do not own a fraternity house. APO was founded in 1925 at Lafayette College by a group of former Eagle Scouts, and has firm roots in Scouting. Alpha Phi Omega is nationally recognized by the Boy Scouts of America. We invite new students to join at the beginning of each Spring and Fall semester. For more information, please visit the Official APO Web Site.
